Independent Photography Project
I like the idea of human canvases. I always have. From doing henna, to getting tattoos in the park, I have thought that wearable art is the most beautiful thing in the world. The universe is the gallery of the walking art piece. I like the idea of art being alive, changing and morphing as the sun rises and falls, so this project was trying to capture that in a way that felt light and pretty.
Night Photography:
Reflection of this technique:
Call me edgy, but I love dark photography. I feel like it adds a whole new level to an idea or concept. Without the nighttime aspect of the moth and butterfly project, I would feel almost average in the concept and execution. I think that being able to play with lighting and camera focus in the dark is also a really quick way to understand the medium itself.

Water Photography: Fat Little Water Shrine
Project reflection:
This was a very funny and light hearted project to do for an afternoon in quarantine. I decided not to take myself too seriously with this, because I was focused more on understanding the way water works in shifting and refracting light. Overall, I would say this is a great exercise if your'e feeling creatively stumped. I also got to laugh quite a bit.
